browser is not related to seo.so can use any browser.but best is text line browser which not showing any images and structure.
i think forum submission.
if you try to do some spammy one.means keyword full or keyword staffing backlink submission.
might be that banned or go for sandbox.submit in google and better if you detected and removed the bad neighbour backlinks.
