I had this problem,but I solve it clicking right click on destop --> View --> Shot destop icons
If you want quick accept from Google,make blog on [url]http://www.blogger.com/home[/url] ,put some text,images and videos,Google will accept you for 24h or less.
What you think about buying Backlinks,will it bring more visitors to my site? I saw a lot ads on Ebay,you can buy thousands backlinks for example 20$.
Windows XP is good,but Windows 7 is way better for me with very nice UI. I have one older pc and windows 7 works great.
Use PS to set opacity and save file in png format
