Check if you are running as a standard user or as an administrator in the Control Panel. Standard user can't run other user's programs.
I think the real problem will be to keep the data/programs/etc. updated in a format readable when the data is actually going to be needed. I've run into problems with something as simple as word processing files where I had to scan the output from the original word processing program …
Gary, Have you tried reinserting the CD into your PC to see if it did get burned correctly? Also, which operating system are you running, Windows 7 or Vista? Do you have the latest updates for the operating system and Windows Media Player installed. Ed E
