You can make it work by changing the for statement to : for (int i = Start; ((Step<0)?(i>End):(i<End)); i+=Step) This will allow the for loop to evaluate the correct ending based on the "Step" being positive or negative. Just remember that whatever "i" is currently is assigned to it will …
