How do I delete Internet Explorer

:eek: I need to delete Internet Explorer so I can reload it again. It is so corrupted that I cannot go to any links either on web pages or in emails. It comes up with a fatal error message. I am running Windows 2000. Can someone please help

when I go to links in email or website, it closes down

Everytime I try to go to a link within a website or email, the message comes up that iexplorer has generated an error and the whole program shuts down. I am running Ad aware but wondering what could be causing this shutdown. Please help :sad:
