Redefine your function with a macro that logs __FILE__, __FUNCTION__, __LINE__ message and then calls the function. Hope this helps. e.g. #define LogAndCallA() printf("Calling from %s:%s:%d",__FILE__,_FUNCTION__,__LINE__); a() Replace calls of a() with LogAndCallA() macro.
